Job Responsibilities
Manage servers and storage troubleshooting and maintenanceResponsible for managing hardware installation & implementation tasksCommunicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issuesManage field activities and implement engineering designsDiagnose construction or machinery problemsResolve malfunctions or other crises when they ariseOversee repairs and technical improvementsInstall new systems and technologyInspect and test material and machinery for safetyEnsure proper maintenance of onsite equipmentSupervise and direct onsite crew (e.g. technicians)Draft and submit reports
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as a field engineer or similar roleWell-versed in technical aspects of field projects, including machinery and equipmentStrong Server and Storage hardware configuration knowledge will be an advantageCapable of using the operating system: Microsoft Windows, Unix, ESX and Linux are preferableGood verbal and written communication skills in English, outstanding communication skillsAn analytical mind and strong problem-solving abilityAble to provide non-office hours standby and support service
